Srinagar, Nov 01 : An encounter started between militants and forces in Rengreth area of Srinagar this afternoon.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that gunfight rages in Srinagar area.
He said earlier a team of forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
The search operation turned into gunfight after hidding militants fired upon them.
