Guns roar again on LoC in Uri

Uri, Dec 06 (GNS) : Fresh exchange of firing rattled along the Line of Control in Uri Sector of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday night.

Official sources told GNS that Pakistan army again resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in the Kamalkote area of Uri sector and targeted Indian posts with heavy firing and shelling.

A Senior Police official also confirmed the incident and said that morter shelling reported in the same area during night, he said no loss of life or injury was reported so far.

Local sources told GNS that fresh ceasefire violation created panic in the area, added that exchange of firing between the two sides continued whole night.

Pertinently on Wednesday two army soldiers identified as Sepoy Dupo Veshunath and Naik M Walim of 8 Rashtriya Rifles were injured in a ceasefire violation who were later hospitalised.(GNS)
