Srinagar, July 19, 2023: In a development that has caused significant inconvenience to commuters, a massive traffic jam has occurred on the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway via Bypass today. The congestion was primarily triggered by the relentless downpour that started today morning.
The incessant rains, which have resulted in waterlogging and slippery road conditions, have severely hampered the smooth flow of traffic along the vital highway.
The situation worsened today as the water levels rose and made several sections of the road impassable.
As a result, vehicles were forced to come to a standstill, causing a long queue of stranded cars, buses, and trucks.
