IED defused in north Kashmir

The government forces on Tuesday defused an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by suspected militants in Tappar village of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reported a local news agency.

Unnamed official sources told the agency that the government forces detected and defused an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on the road near petrol pump Tappar in Pattan area of  Baramulla district. (KNO)
