Baramulla, Nov 14 : IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited) successfully organized an Animal Health Camp in Saderbal, Baramulla, aimed at improving livestock management and promoting sustainable farming practices.
The event featured a lecture by veterinary expert and subject matter specialist from KVK Baramulla, Mr. Sajad, who shared essential knowledge on maintaining animal health. Mr. Sajad emphasized the importance of regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations for keeping livestock healthy.
As part of the camp’s initiative to support local farmers, free medicines and veterinary supplies were distributed to the attendees.
Additionally, a session on nano fertilizers was conducted by Mohammad Asif Lone, FO-North Kashmir, who introduced farmers to this innovative approach for enhancing crop yields. The lecture emphasized how nano fertilizers provide better nutrient absorption, increased efficiency, and a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fertilizers.
Through initiatives like these, IFFCO aims to help farmers adopt more sustainable practices, improve productivity, and promote the overall well-being of livestock, thereby contributing to the long-term growth and development of rural communities.
