IMPARD conducts interactive session with officers of NICF New Delhi

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 7: Director Trainings, J&K Institute of Mnagement, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD), Kashmir, Dr.Jahan Ara Jabeen, today conducted an interactive session here with a team of officers deputed to IMPARD by National Institute of Communication and Finance (NICF), New Delhi.

The batch of thirty six officers of NICF has been deputed for “One Week Special Capsule Training Course” at IMPARD, Srinagar. They will be given exposure in three sectors including Posts, Telecommunications and Information. The present batch of NICF officers to be trained at IMPARD is the third of its kind.

This exchange of officers between IMPARD and NICF is part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that had been signed on August 12, 2022, between the both. The highlights of the MoU included emphasis on sharing of Advocacy, Research Support, Technical Handholding Assistance, Capacity Building in various areas including Public Administration, Finance and various government schemes. It was agreed between the parties to regularly exchange faculties, co-host workshops, utilize infrastructure facilities, library, etc.

Director Trainings said that such exchanges would continue in future also.

R N Dash, facilitator, NICF thanked the Director General IMPARD, Bipul Pathak, for giving them an opportunity to interact with the learned guest faculty.

On the occasion, IMPARD faculty members were also present.
