The India Energy Week (IEW) has rapidly evolved into a cornerstone of the global energy calendar over the past two editions. In 2025, IEW is set to be the first major global event of the year, promising to be the most comprehensive and inclusive gathering in the global energy sector.

Given the swiftly changing global political landscape this year, the significance of IEW’25 has amplified. Countries are increasingly focused on securing stable energy supplies while transitioning to sustainable and renewable energy sources. IEW’25 will function as a vital meeting point to address these challenges, foster dialogue, and explore opportunities.

With India’s rising prominence in the global energy ecosystem, IEW’25 is expected to be even larger, more diverse, and impactful than its previous editions. Key themes such as energy security, orderly energy transitions, collaboration, resilience, innovation, and digital advancements will be explored. Practical solutions for decarbonization, energy equity, and promoting low-carbon economies will also be highlighted.

Spanning over 100,000 square meters, IEW’25 will be the second-largest global energy event, with increased participation from ministers, CEOs, exhibitors, and conference sessions. Here are some exciting numbers highlighting the incredible growth for this edition:

  • An exhibition area exceeding 28,000 square meters, a 65% increase from 2024.
  • 105 conference sessions, up 15% from 2024 and 24% from 2023.
  • More than 70,000 delegates, representing a 55% rise from 2024 and an 89% increase from 2023.
  • 500 speakers from India and abroad, marking a 38% increase from 2024 and 58% from 2023.
  • Over 700 exhibitors, a 57% increase from 2024 and 115% from 2023.

Additionally, there has been a 35% surge in submitted abstracts, and participation of international speakers in the Strategic Conference has grown to 48% from 33% last year, showcasing the event’s growing global impact.

Expect to see participation from over 20 foreign ministers and deputy ministers, high-ranking leaders from various international organizations, and 90 CEOs from Fortune 500 energy companies such as Honeywell, PetroBras, and Baker Hughes. There will also be exciting youth engagement with 500 students from leading IITs and the Delhi/NCR region participating.

In line with India’s commitment to fostering innovation and a dynamic startup ecosystem, IEW’25 will host the Avinya Energy Startup Challenge 2.0, showcasing the top five startups selected from 173 applications. Participating startups will include UrjanovaC Pvt Ltd, Breathe ESG Private Limited, AgriVijay, Apeiro Energy, and UGreen Technology.

The event will feature dedicated pavilions and thematic zones for the participating countries, offering unique platforms to engage with local and international energy companies and exploring innovations across the entire energy value chain.

Moreover, the event will highlight significant participation from key Indian energy ministries, reinforcing India’s commitment to integrated and inclusive energy solutions. The Sustainable Mobility Pavilion organized by SIAM will showcase cutting-edge technologies for two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler vehicle categories.

With unparalleled scale and a strong emphasis on innovation, IEW’25 is set to position India as a leader in global energy transitions. It will unlock new opportunities while serving as a catalyst for meaningful collaboration in the energy sector.

Join us in looking forward to this exciting event that promises to drive the future of energy onward and upward!
