Uri : Army on Thursday claimed to have killed three militants who were trying to infiltrate this side along the line of control (LOC) in North Kashmir’s Uri.
Addressing a press conference at army brigade in Rampur sector of Uri as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Commanding officer of 3 Rajput Manish Punj said that today morning three militants were killed after the Army foiled a major infiltration bid along the LoC in the Rampur sector of Uri.
The officer said huge quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from them including Ak 5, grenades 45, UBGL 24 grenades, pistol 8, 35 K indian currency, 10300 Pakistan current beside other items were recovered from them.
Pertinently, Mobile and Internet communications were shut in the border area of Uri for three days after reports of attempt of infiltration.
