Srinagar, Aug 12 : Jammu and Kashmir cyber police wing in Srinagar have taken cognizance after a few Instagram accounts were posting adult content and live streaming from the last few days.
Reports reaching Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that Cyber police Kashmir has taken a legal action against some alleged Kashmiri girls Instagram accounts that were posting adult content in Kashmiri language and live streaming from the last few days.
Posting adult content on social media is a cognizable offense and it violates the social media law, a police officer told KDC and said immediate action under rules has been initiated against the handlers involved in this crime.
We have set the investigation into motion, the officer said adding that we will first check the content and will verify it and accordingly will proceed in the investigation with relevant sections of law. (KDC)
