JAKFAS Mourns the Tragic Demise of Young Police Officer Amir Amin Bhat

SRINAGAR, June 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Society (JAKFAS) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Shri Amir Amin Bhat, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Probationer), who hailed from Ujroo, Langate.

In a heartfelt condolence message issued on Saturday evening, Rafiq Ahmad Shah (JKAS), Vice President of JAKFAS, said the tragic and sudden loss of a young officer with such a promising and bright future has sent shockwaves through the administrative and law enforcement fraternity in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The sudden passing of Shri Amir Amin Bhat, a dedicated and upright officer, is a devastating blow. He stood as a symbol of integrity, service, and unwavering commitment to duty,” Shah stated. “His career, which showed immense promise, has ended far too soon, leaving a void not only in the Jammu and Kashmir Police but across the civil services community, including JAKFAS.”

JAKFAS vice president noted that Bhat’s death is not just a personal loss to his family but also a collective loss for the institutions he served and aspired to strengthen. The society extended its solidarity to the bereaved family and the entire police department, acknowledging the pain of losing a colleague held in high regard.

“Words fall short in conveying the gravity of this loss. We pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in this hour of unimaginable grief,” Shah added.

Tributes have poured in from various quarters, highlighting the impact Bhat made in a short span of his service.
