BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting of officers to review the implementation of centrally sponsored Jal Jeevan Mission in the district.
Pertinent to mention that the programme was launched with an aim to provide safe and adequate piped drinking water to every household by 2024.
The DC stressed upon the concerned officers to work with zeal and enthusiasm so that objectives of the mission are implemented in letter and spirit. He directed the PHE authorities to mobilize available resources so that piped drinking water is provided to every household well within stipulated timeframe.
SE R&B, Joint Director Planning, ACD, Chief Agriculture Officer and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
