Srinagar, Feb 01 : No traffic will be allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway today on Friday due to fresh snowfall and landslides.
Traffic officials confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that Jammu-Srinagar the only National Highway which connects valley with the rest of world to remain closed today due slippery condition of road caused by fresh snowfall and landslides at many places, officer however added that men and mechinary are on job to restore traffic at earliest.
Traffic officials said that priority will be to ensure that no vehicle gets stranded and all the vehicles parked or abandoned at various places on the highway are cleared officials added.
