Jammu’s Mahi Sharma making mark in Bollywood

Jammu, Mar 31 : Mahi Sharma from Jammu is now a well known name in Bollywood. Mahi started her carrier from kalsi’s small character on colours TV show “Sakhti”-ek astiv ke ahsas ki, but “Kalsi” become popular and she never turned back.

Currently she is playing parallel lead in Soni channels hit shows, “Main Mayke Chali Jaungi”. Her character “Shikha Sharma” is one of the most character of fans. Mahi said that she realized the high of her characters popularity when in her own city Jammu’s airport, a family recognized her as “Shikha” not Mahi and requested her to click a picture with their favorite daughter of “Satya Devi”.

Mahi said life is about moving on not about waiting for anything. “As a small town girl second girl have passion for modeling and acting but very few get chains to complete it,” she get emotional and said. “I am lucky that my parents always behind me to fulfill my dreams but is just a beginning for me. I have to complete very long journey like my role model Priyanka Chopra who also come from a small town and become national sensation only because of her talent,” Mahi said.

When asked about her next Bollywood project after “Vodka Dairies”, she laughed haha” and informed that she get shortlisted for a big banner Bollywood movie recently, if everything goes well, she will be make proud her city and parents soon, she do not wanted to reveal much about the film still it will not coming out from the production house.
