Srinagar, Feb 19; The mother of journalist Lone Sajad has passed away on Monday evening at a hospital in Srinagar city.
According to a family member, Jana Begum passed away today evening at SMHS Srinagar after a prolonged illness.
Family sources added that she will be laid to rest at her residence in Kralgund.
Lone Sajad is affiliated with the news agency Kashmir News Service.
Meanwhile, the Kashmir Despatch team expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
