Srinagar, June 5, 2025 — The Kashmir Advocate’s Association / Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association Srinagar (Regd) has officially announced its new managing body, marking a significant organizational development for the legal fraternity in the region.
As per the announcement, Advocate Waseem Gul will continue to serve as President of the Association. His continuation at the helm reflects a strategic decision by the Association aimed at maintaining focused leadership and ensuring consistency in legal and institutional affairs during a critical period for Jammu & Kashmir’s legal landscape.
Joining him in the newly formed executive body are Advocate Farooq Ahmad Ganie as Vice President, Advocate Syed Adil Muneer Andrabi as General Secretary, Advocate Zarin as Joint Secretary, Advocate Zaman Irshad Parray as Treasurer, Advocate Surat Shakeel as Coordinator, and Advocate Adil Parray as Executive Member.
The Association has emphasized that the new team is a blend of experienced and committed legal professionals who are expected to bring renewed vigor and unity in addressing key legal, constitutional, and institutional issues affecting the region. The leadership aims to strengthen advocacy for civil rights, defend the independence of the judiciary, and promote the professional interests of the legal community.
In its official communication, the Association stated that the newly appointed team is focused on building institutional resilience, enhancing legal outreach, and standing firm on the principles of justice, transparency, and accountability.
