Samples taken, material will be destroyed : Food Inspector

Sopore : Authorities on Monday visited the bread making unit in North Kashmir’s Sopore, where a non-local employee was allegedly seen kneading dough with feet by the locals.
According to Kashmir Despatch correspondent, a team of local administration headed by tehsildar Sopore, food inspector, team from MC Sopore visited the unit and ordered the decomposition of the material.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch Food Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad said that the samples were taken from the unit for observation and the rest of the material available will be destroyed tomorrow.
Station house officer Sopore Khalid Fayaz told this newspaper that a case in this regard has been set into motion and further investigation has been started.
He said that only two people were arrested yesterday in this case.
Meanwhile, scores of bakery unit holders demanded the authenticity of the viral video which has hurt the bakery business.
“Authorities should check the veracity of the viral video. Police should keenly check the authenticity of the video and if found wrong, then involved persons should be punished,” they added.
Pertinent to mention here, after the video went viral, people in Sopore are very much concerned about buying bakery items.
