BANDIPORA, Aug 30: A woman was killed, three others critically injured in a road accident in Neeru village of Gurez of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday afternoon.
An official told the Kashmir Despatch that an Alto car on the way to Tulail Gurez, skidded off the road in Neeru village of Gurez valley and fell into a deep gorge, in which four persons were injured.
Soon after the incident, locals rushed to the spot and evacuated the injured persons from the badly damaged vehicle.
The injured persons had been referred to Community Health center Gurez, where after giving initial treatment, they had been referred to district hospital Bandipora where doctors declared one girl dead on arrival after that they had been referred to Skims Soura for further treatment.
The deceased had been identified Insha Bano (25) of Neeru village of Tulail and the injured persons are Mohammad Yousf Mir (35), Zahid Ismayal (05), Munawar Mir (40) all of from Meeru village of Gurez.
