LG Sinha Reviews Passing Out Parade of Probationer DySPs at Police Academy, Udhampur

Udhampur, Jan 7: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha reviewed the Passing Out Parade of probationer Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) at the Police Academy in Udhampur today. Expressing his best wishes to all the officers passing out, LG Sinha said, “My best wishes to all the police officers passing out today. I wish them victory in every mission.”

During his address, LG Sinha highlighted the significant role of the J&K Police, stating, “J&K Police, working under extremely challenging circumstances, is playing a significant role in the country’s internal security, ensuring the integrity of the nation and the safety of the citizens of the Union Territory.” He commended the officers for their unwavering commitment to securing the region.

LG Sinha also acknowledged the growing role of technology in enhancing security operations. He said, “Modern technology like AI tools has changed the security landscape. Challenges of disinformation and deep fakes remain major concerns. J&K Police must use the innovative tools to enhance its capabilities in countering disinformation and dealing with cross-border cyber threats.”
