Man electrocuted to death in Pattan

Srinagar, April 22: A 30-year-old man was electrocuted to death in the Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 30-year-old identified as Gulzar Ahmad Qadri of Pattan was electrocuted after he was repairing an electric motor at his house.


Qadri was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital in an unconscious state, however, doctors present there declared him brought dead on arrival, reports added.


Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.
