Srinagar, April 25 : A man this evening ended his life by jumping into river jehlum in Srinagar.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 30 year old man jumped into river jehlum at Ali Kadal Area of Downtown Srinagar this evening.
Reports said a team of police reached the spot after getting information about the incident.
A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said rescue operation has been launched to fished out the body from the river.
