Under the direction of the Honorable MLA of Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, an emergency filling point for drinking water supply tankers has commenced operations at Lalad, Sopore.
This initiative aims to reduce turnaround time, cut costs, enhance service delivery, and alleviate congestion at the Watlab tanker filling point, thereby ensuring smoother access to drinking water for residents of the Sopore constituency.
The newly operational filling station is expected to streamline water distribution and address critical challenges faced by tanker operators and consumers alike. By decentralizing water supply operations, the MLA’s office seeks to improve efficiency and ensure reliable access to clean drinking water across the region.
“This strategic intervention will save time and resources while ensuring an uninterrupted water supply to our constituents,” stated the MLA. “We remain committed to implementing solutions that enhance public convenience and service delivery.”
This move is part of broader efforts to strengthen water infrastructure and optimize resource management in the Sopore constituency.
