Muslims Help To Perform Last Rites of Kashmiri Pandit in Budgam

Budgam, Sep 04 : The local Muslims in central Kashmir’s Budgam District helped in performing the last rites of a 72 year old Kashmiri Pandit Avatar Krish Ganjoo  As the news of Ganjoo’s Passing away spread , locals of sebdan village started visiting his house .

Setting an example of Communal harmony and brotherhood, Avtar Krishan Ganjoo decided to stay in kashmir valley in 80s when the majority of Kashmir Pandits migrated from the region he was lone survivor Pandit stayed along with his family in sebdan village. 

 A local at sebdan Budgam told the Kashmir Despatch that the Avtar Krishan Ganjoo was a  generous person and he used to be the first person to help those in need irrespective of their religion or caste .
