Says women should come forward to prove their mettle in enterprenuership programmes
Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Thursday launched a first of its kind “Nayi Soch” an initiave of awareness on women welfare schemes in the district.
Dr Sehrish said that “Nayi Soch” an initiative aims at creating a world where women in distress will be able to come out of the distressed situation by taking help of this initiative.
She said women in distress will be given medical counseling by the one stop centre- an affiliation of district hub for empowerment of women.
Addressing the gathering at North Campus Kashmir University, Dr Sehrish said this initiative of Nayi Soch shall lead the whole community of Baramulla towards a new dawn.
She further said that women folk represent half of the population and they should come forward to prove their mettle in various enterprenuership programmes.
