Ganderbal: The PAGD on Wednesday won the chairman and vice-chairman posts in the DDC chairperson elections in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
PAGD candidate Nuzhat Ishfaq polled 10 votes while her rival independent candidate Tasmeena Aadil secured 7 votes.
Reports said that the vice-chairman Bilal Ahmad got 10 votes.
They said that Nuzhat Ishfaq of Lar who had won DDC elections from Lar-1 block and will be the first chairperson of Ganderbal while Bilal Ahmad will be vice-chairperson.
It is pertinent to mention here that both PAGD candidates Have won the Chairperson and vice chairperson.
