Netizens bade farewell to SSP Javid, calls him an upright officer

Sopore, Mar 20 : Several socio political activists today bade farewell to the former SSP of police Javid Iqbal and called him an upright officer who changed the total scenario of Sopore police district.

Netizens in Sopore took to social media calling Javid Iqbal an upright and dedicated officer who would always come forward to help the common masses.

“Sopore police under the able and capable leadership of former SSP cherished and common people were given enough respect and care. We saw a change during his tenure be it Sopore traffic jams or for that matter speedy redresal of problems in the police stations,” said a local from Sopore.


They thanked former SSP Sopore for his unflinching support and contribution in the overall development of Sopore police district be it policing or fight against social crimes and taking drug dealers head on.

Various media organizations also thanked Javid Iqbal for his outstanding stay at Sopore and wished him luck for his next posting.

A journalist from Sopore while praising Javid Iqbal said that not only policing, former SSP Sopore always gave enough respect to the fourth pillar of democracy.
“Be it 12 at night or 6 in the morning, he would always recieve calls from media fraternity and update them about the situations around. He was an upright officer. We wish him all the best for his next posting,” the journalist said.
