Non-local resident dies of suffocation due to gas leakage, another hospitalized in Sopore

SOPORE, Nov 29:  A non-local resident died on Tuesday morning of a breathing problem, and another was admitted to the hospital, after they had slept with a gas cylinder on in a truck during the night hours in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told the Kashmir Despatch that they suffocated due to gas leakage in the truck in which both brothers from Punjab were sleeping.

The officer said one of the brothers died following a gas leak, while another has been hospitalized.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh 45 year old, while his brother has been identified as Ashwin Kumar 50 both residents of Gurdaspur Punjab.
