North India’s biggest Zoo to be opened for public next month : LG

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced on Saturday that Jambu Zoo, the biggest zoo in North India, will be thrown open to the public next month.


As per the Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who inspected the site today in Jammu to review the progress of the construction work, said that this biggest zoo in North India will be opened to the public next month.


Sources told Kashmir Despatch that Haryana’s crocodiles, Delhi’s black deer, Karnataka’s sloth bear, Gujarat’s lion, Bengal’s tiger, and black bucks are among the species that will delight visitors at the Jambu Zoo on its opening.
