JAMMU, Jan 24: Dr. Rahul Sharma, a resident of Jammu and a well known orthopedician (now practicing in Mumbai) conducted free consultation of patents in Jammu besides convening a programme in which youth associated with medical field were conferred with certificates.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, moved by the sufferings and unnecessary expenses of patients of J&K who visit cities like Delhi, Mumbai, for their bone-related serious diseases at the cost of their hard earned money and mental peace, Dr Sharma in collaboration with Mumbai’s public welfare human service organization and Mumbai Jhalawadi Charitable Foundation Ghatkopar, Sarveshwar Foundation Jammu conducted a programme in Jammu on Tuesday.
“For the valuable contribution in the public service of J&K, the youths associated with the medical field were given a certificate by the organization by our Rajinder Sharma, Mayor of Jammu,” the statement read.
Continuing with its contribution in the service of humanity, the organization and Dr. Rahul Sharma have conducted charity service (OPD) at three places in Jammu.
“Services will be made available in those camps, financial assistance and high-level medical advice will be provided in the treatment of serious patients. In this episode, charity OPD camp has already been organized at one place, Bee Enn hospital in Jammu for general bone patients. Appointment is available in this hospital.
