Sopore, July 28: An open mic evening with the slogan ‘Let’s Express Together’ was hosted by Unite Kashmir in Sopore on Saturday.
The event filled with music, poetry and comedy was held at MSM Fajar Creche, Preparatory and Kindergarten school Krankshivan colony of the town.
The main motive, as per the organisers, was to share opinions with mutual respect for the betterment of society.
The session attended by around 150 to 200 youth of different professional achievers from Kashmir valley.
Among the eminent faces gracing the occassion included Irfan Shah Managing director (MSM Fajar school Sopore), Mohammad Nayeem (M.D. Wall and floor Sopore), Haris Wani (Owner Parsa’s Sopore), Adv. Mursaleen (President Pankh), Aashiq Hussain Zaki (Social activist ), Rayees Ahmad Kaloo (Social activist), Jibran Khan (M.D. Zero miles Sopore), Shafi Sopori (Acclaimed Singer), Dr. Saba (Chairperson KK Production Kashmir), Furqan Janwari (President Unite Kashmir), Shahbaz Ahmad (General Secretary Unite Kashmir), Mudasir Ahmad (Kashur Kalakar), Danish Ahmad (International athelete) and Armaan Wani (Rapper).
The one of its kind event in north-Kashmir was hailed by one and all present on the occassion.
