Pahalgam attack will be avenged: LoP Sharma

Srinagar, May 02 : Stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi April 22 Pahalgam attack will be avenged, Leader of Opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Sunil Sharma on Friday said that the perpetrators will be hunted down and taught a lesson.

Sharma, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Everyone is aware that PM Modi fulfills his promise. But, we will have to wait for the revenge of the Pahalgam attack. Those responsible will be hunted down.”

Sharma also said that the country under the leadership of PM Modi has witnessed a change.

“The time has gone when the other countries would dare to undermine Bharat. It is Modi’s Bharat and those responsible will be brought to justice,” he said. “Bharat continues to follow values of humanity even after witnessing the attacks like Uri, Pulwama and Pahalgam. India has never compromised with these values and witnessed the growth. However, some people who are not happy with this growth are trying to destabilize the peace and killing innocents,” he said.

He added that PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have already promised that the Pahalgam terror attack will be avenged. “India stands at the top and follows the values of humanity in letter and spirit,” he said.

Sharma also remembered Adi Shankaracharya and greeted the people on the occasion of Shankaracharya Jayanti—(KNO)
