PDP constitutes Distt Committee Kishtwar

Jammu, Aug 23: In order to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, Peoples Democratic Party today constituted District Committee of Kishtwar.

An official spokesman said that with the approval of Vice President Choudhary Abdul Hamid, General Secretary Sardar Amreek Singh Reen approved proposal of the district president Kishtwar to constitute district committee and heads of frontal organizations.

Mr. Abdul Kabir Naik has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Mr. Nazir Ahmed Lone, Mr Ghulam Nabi Gafil, Mr. Talib Hussain Butt, Mrs Rafeeqa Begum (Councilor Kishtwar Municipal Council) have been appointed as Vice Presidents, Master Joginder Bhandari , Mr Abdul Kabir Butt, as General Secretaries, Mrs. Anita Thakur, Mr Khalid Iqbal Molvi, Mr Sajad Hussain Butt, Mr Habibullah Dhobi as secretaries, Mr Ishtiyaq Hussain Gilkar as Joint Secretary (Organisation) , Mr Manzoor Ilahi as Joint Secretary and Fida Hussain as Treasurer.

Mr. Wasil Doolwal has been reappointed as District President Youth, while Mrs. Gulnaz Begumg has been designated as District President Women Wing. Mr Arshad Hussain Giri has been appointed as District Media Coordinator, Mr. Haji Mohammad Iqbal and Mr. Abdul Rehman Kashmiri have been designated as Zonal President Kishtwar and Inderwal , respectfully.

Congratulating the newly appointed office bearers, State Secretary Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain and District President Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza said that people have high hope from the party and it was imperative for the workers to reachout to the masses at the grassroots level. They said that PDP has remained on the forefront on all public issues in Kishtwar and has been the sole voice of dissent against the administrative and political inertia in the region.
