Political Leaders Express Condolences Over the Passing of Journalist Qayoom Khan’s Grandmother

Srinagar, October 12 : In a heartfelt show of solidarity, several political leaders on Sunday expressed their condolences following the passing of the grandmother of renowned journalist Qayoom Khan at Rahmoo, Pulwama.

Among those offering their sympathies were Waheed Ur Rehman Parra, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth President and MLA from Pulwama, Umer Jaan, a prominent Congress leader, Ghulam Mohuddin Mir, MLA Rajpora, Hassnain Masoodi, MLA Pampore, political leader, Dr Talaat Majeed, and Mudasir Hassan, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In their joint message, the leaders conveyed deep sorrow over the loss, sending their thoughts and prayers to Khan and his family in this difficult time.

The leaders highlighted the deceased’s lasting legacy of love and kindness, which they said would continue to inspire the family and broader community. They hoped her memory would bring comfort and strength to those mourning her loss.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Qayoom Khan and his family. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her compassion and grace offer solace to her loved ones in these challenging times,” one of the leaders stated.
