Prominent women activists including former special secretary home join Apni Party

SRINAGAR, March 29: Prominent women activists from Srinagar on Monday joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

The new entrants to the Apni Party included: Former Special Secretary Home and former member State Human Rights Commission Dilshad Shaheen and a well known social activist Dr. Asmat.

The joining ceremony took place at Party office in Srinagar in presence of Party’s Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, State Secretary and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Ganderbal Javid Mir, Chairman DDC Srinagar Malik Aftab, Apni Party Youth Provincial President Kashmir Khalid Rathore, Party leader Jeela Rafeeqi and Mrs. Rafeeqa.   

Welcoming the new entrants, Mohammad Ashraf Mir said that Apni Party is open to all who wish to serve the people and work for the redressal of their grievances.

“Our aim is to free people from the malicious schemes of political demagogy that have entangled our society for decades while striving to address their tangible issues of concern on a prompt basis,” he remarked.

The new entrants on the occasion thanked the party leadership for providing such a reliable platform and avowed to work diligently for strengthening the party at grass root levels.
