Jammu, Sept 09 : Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi arrived here on Thursday on two day visit of Jammu.
Soon after landing at Jammu airport, the senoir Congress leader has left for Katra to Pt obeisance at Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in Trikuta Hills.
A senoir congress leader told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that he is likely to proceed to the holy shrine from Katra on foot and participate in “Arti” at the holy shrine in the evening. He said that Gandhi will spend the night at the Bhawan and return to Jammu on Friday.
Notibaly, this will be Gandhi’s second visit to Jammu and Kashmir within a month; he was in Srinagar on August 9 and 10 when he inaugurated the party’s new office in the city.
