RDD Minister visits Rafiabad Constituency; assesses development works, public issues

BARAMULLA, MAY 4: Minister for Agriculture Production Department, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar, conducted an extensive tour of Rafiabad constituency on Sunday, visiting several villages including Judinambal, Braman, Khahmoh, Brandub and Arkharwari.


The tour aimed to assess progress on various development works and address key issues affecting the local residents of the area.


During his visit, the Minister focused on several critical areas including water supply, electricity, road connectivity, food supply and water bodies development.
He issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers to ensure access to clean and adequate water for the residents. He assessed the status of electricity infrastructure besides identifying the areas requiring improvement for smooth supply of electricity.


The Minister directed the officers to assess the condition of roads and related infrastructure besides monitoring the availability and distribution of essential commodities. He further instructed for timely and quality completion of all ongoing development projects.


The Minister had exclusive interaction with the local residents of these villages, seeking feedback on status of development works in their respective areas. He took stock of their grievances and demands, assuring speedy redress of the same.
