Regular Services of Vande Bharat Trains Between Srinagar and Katra to Begin from June 7

New Delhi, June 5: Northern Railway has announced the commencement of regular services of the Vande Bharat Express trains between Srinagar and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra starting June 7, 2025. The services will operate six days a week, enhancing connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and the prominent pilgrimage destination.

Two pairs of Vande Bharat Express trains—Train Nos. 26404/26403 and 26401/26402—will run on the Srinagar–Katra–Srinagar route with intermediate stops at Banihal.

Details of Train Services:

Train Nos. 26404/26403 (Srinagar – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Srinagar)

Commencement Date: June 7, 2025

Frequency: Six days a week (except Wednesday)

Route & Timings:

Train No. 26404: Departs Srinagar at 08:00 hrs, Banihal at 09:02 hrs, and arrives at Katra at 10:58 hrs.

Train No. 26403: Departs Katra at 14:55 hrs, Banihal at 16:40 hrs, and arrives at Srinagar at 17:53 hrs.

Train Nos. 26401/26402 (Katra – Srinagar – Katra)

Commencement Date: June 7, 2025

Frequency: Six days a week (except Tuesday)

Route & Timings:

Train No. 26401: Departs Katra at 08:10 hrs, Banihal at 09:58 hrs, and arrives at Srinagar at 11:08 hrs.

Train No. 26402: Departs Srinagar at 14:00 hrs, Banihal at 15:10 hrs, and arrives at Katra at 16:58 hrs.
