Returned from Haj, Sopore resident hospitalised after suffers massive heart stroke

Sopore, July 18: A resident of Sopore who returned from Hajj on Tuesday was hospitalised after he suffered a massive heart stroke hours after returning home.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that one Haji of the first batch returned from Hajj, namely Ghulam Mohammad Gojri, son of Mohammad Ramzan Gojri of Hygam Sopore, aged around 70 years old, suffered a heart attack at home. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred him to JVC Srinagar. However, he was shifted to the Soura Medical Institute for advanced treatment.

Pertinently, 630 pilgrims arrived in two flights at the Srinagar international airport today after performing the Hajj.
