Baramulla, Mar 13 : The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, a Mumbai-based NGO, has bolstered educational infrastructure at Guru Nanak Dev Model High School in Baramulla by donating computers and benches to enhance learning opportunities for students.
Rouble Nagi, founder of the foundation, underscored the critical role of computer literacy in modern education. “Basic knowledge begins with computers, and digital skills are essential for careers in every field,” she said. Reflecting on her prior visit to the school, Nagi noted, “After identifying the institution’s needs, I am delighted to provide these resources today to empower students.”

Highlighting the foundation’s mission, she added, “Our goal is to ensure children have access to all necessary facilities, eliminating barriers to their education. Quality learning is non-negotiable.” Nagi emphasized the indispensability of technology in education, stating, “In today’s world, computers are pivotal in shaping students’ futures. We want every child here to thrive without limitations.”
Addressing the bench donation, she shared, “It pained me to see students sitting on the floor during my visit. Providing proper seating is a basic yet vital step toward creating a conducive learning environment.”
Nagi reaffirmed the foundation’s long-term commitment to the school’s development, praising the students’ dedication. “The enthusiasm here is inspiring. We will continue supporting this institution and its learners to ensure their progress,” she said, adding that she frequently visits Kashmir due to the region’s “remarkable academic outcomes and motivated students.”
The event was attended by Sikh youth leader Amarjeet Singh, retired CEO Balbir Singh, and school staff, who expressed gratitude for the contributions aimed at fostering educational excellence.
