Srinagar, April 19 : Forces on Sunday morning sealed Pulwama village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Officials told Kashmir Despatch we have launched a cordon and search operation in Wasoora village of Pulwama in South Kashmir after receiving information about the presence of some militants in the area. Officer said this is a joint operation of Army’s 55 RR, SOG and CRPF.
Locals reports said, forces sealed all entry and exit points of the village and
conducted house to house search operation in the area.
However, there was no immediate report of any contact between search parties and hidding militants.
