40 drug peddlers were recommended for PSA in just 4 months

SOPORE, Sep 13: Senior Superintendent of Police Sopore Shabir Nawaz on Tuesday sought support from senior citizens to eradicate drug menace in the society and to save the future generations.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, SSP Sopore while addressing a large gathering of people at Tarzoo said that the senior citizens can play an important role for a fit and healthy society. He said without the support of citizens, it is impossible to take the fight to a logical conclusion.
The top police officer said parents have a greater responsibility in the social development of a child as they act as the first teachers and guides of their wards. He further said that every reasonable person must come forward to join the war against drug abuse. The officer said at least forty drug peddlers were recommended for PSA in the first four months.
