Date:

Shutdown across Kashmir called by Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik against panchayat polls in Jammu and Kashmir hit normal life across Kashmir.

Shops and other commercial establishments remained closed in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir valley. While Public transport was off the roads the private vehicles were seen moving on the roads.
