Six residential houses gutted in Sopore fire mishap

Sopore : Six residential houses were gutted in a fire mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Wednesday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said fire broke out from a residential house at Arampora area of Sopore.

The fire spread across the neighbouring houses resulted in burnt down around six residential house.

Reports added, firefighters in association with the local police who played a proactive role to prevent further loss.

An official confirmed this fire mishap to Kashmir Despatch said, total six residential houses were damaged in the mishap, he said two houses were gutted completely while four residential house were partially damaged. The office said the cause of fire is said to be short-circuit.

The actual loss sustained during the inferno was yet to be assessed.
