Smart Voice Conversion Pen Developed by Sanctorians

Baramulla, March 30 : A smart voice conversion pen developed for Handicaped People was inaugurated today at Sanctorum Higher Secondary School Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.


A student of Sanctorum from class 9th came up with an idea of developing a pen which can be used by the handicapped people.


The student shared the idea with the management and her fellow team. As the idea was very innovative school management provided the full support in developing this type of “SMART VOICE CONVERSION PEN”.


After 8 months of full hard work and dedication of both students as well as School management the pen was finally developed. School management provided all kind of financially support for project. The total sum up for project is Rs 70,000/ till date.

Further much improvement is needed in project like accuracy, speed and it should be cost effective.


Also on this occasion several students displayed innovative science based projects.

Head of Department Physics Government Degree College Baramulla Tariq Ahmad Chalkoo was guest of honor on this occasion.

Students of Sanctorum secondary school displayed various innovative scientific projects receiving applauds from the audience.

Over 100 students from Standard VI to X from the school across displayed innovative talents.

“The exhibition was organized with the key objective of bringing out the hidden talents of students and with a focus on creating more awareness of science, technology and engineering.

The students are much talented but they need appreciation and moral support from the society as well as from respective departments,” Shakir Ashraf, Chairman Sanctorum Higher Secondary said.
