Residents Commend Police for Swift Action

Police in north Kashmir’s Sopore claimed to have arrested a main accused in a local doctor’s accident case.
An official informed Kashmir Despatch that Dr. Azhar Janwari, son of the late Gh. Hassan Janwari of Upper Ashpeer Sopore, was critically injured last week when an unknown vehicle hit him during the evening hours.
The official stated that Dr. Janwari had been hospitalized at SKIMS Soura for a week; however, he passed away on Sunday evening.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sopore, Divya-D, confirmed that a case had already been registered in this regard, and during the investigation, the main accused has been formally arrested. The family has also been informed.
Meanwhile, the general public of Sopore has hailed the swift action of the police in apprehending the suspect in this case.
Javid Ahmad, a local representative, stated, “Sopore police are always on their toes. The district police deserve salute for their swift action against those culprits involved in Dr. Azhar’s killing.”
Another senior citizen remarked, “Kudos to the Sopore police department for their swift action in apprehending the accused in Dr. Azhar’s murder case. Your dedication to justice and public safety is truly commendable. Thank you for keeping our community safe.”
Arshid Badroo, a businessman, added, “Such quick action by the Sopore police is highly appreciated.”
