Srinagar Gunfight : Voice calls suspended too

Srinagar, May 19 : Amid the ongoing gunfight which broke out between hidding militants and government forces in central Kashmir’s Srinagar District early this morning, authorities now suspended voices calls too except government-run BSNL .

Earlier authorities suspended Internet services in Srinagar District as a precautionary measure inwake of this Gunfight.

Sources said two militants are believed to be trapped.

Pertinently, A joint team of army, Police and CRPF launched cordon search operation in Nawakadal.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
