Tarique Raheem takes over as President Handwara Media Association

Handwara June 25: Greater Kashmir correspondent Tarique Raheem Tuesday took over as the President of Handwara Media Association (HMA) at Handwara.

After completing the tenure of six months, former President Kabeer Gelani handed over the charge to new President Tarique Raheem in presence of other body members.

In a congratulatory function organized today at Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) Handwara, HMA President Tarique Raheem received the honour from former President in presence of association members.

Speaking on the occasion, senior Journalist Shamim Abdullah congratulated Tarique Raheem and stressed upon other body members to extend support to newly President for smooth functioning of the association.

President HMA, Tarique Raheem thanked all the members who were present on the occasion. He sought support from members for the smooth functioning of the association. He promised to uphold the integrity of the association. Tarique Raheem assured to work for the welfare of the association and urged members to work with honesty and dedication to serve the society.

Meanwhile other members congratulated Tarique Raheem.

It may recalled that Syed Imtiyaz and Aadil Akbar have been working as Vice President and General Secretary after they won the election held previous year.
