Srinagar, Dec 27 : A terrorist associate has been arrested by a joint team of security forces during a naka checking in Kreeri Baramulla on Wednesday evening, a police official said.
The official said that one Imran Qayoom Ganie, son of Abdul Qayoom Ganie, resident of Nowpora Kreeri was arrested by SOG Kreeri Baramulla and 52 RR during a naka checking at Shakarwara near Bus Stand.
“During the checking, a pistol and a magazine and nine pistol rounds were recovered from the possession of the apprehended terrorist associate”, the official said.
“An FIR number 127/2023 under section 7/25 IA, 13, 20, 23, 39, UL(P)Act has been registered at Police Station Kreeri”, the official said further.
