Three persons have been arrested by police in the Karanagar area of Srinagar district for their alleged involvement in a gang rape case.
Top sources told Press Trust of Kashmir, the accused had allegedly raped a young girl from Bandipora who was residing in a rented accommodation in Srinagar.
The girl reportedly has lodged a complaint against the accused in the Karan Nagar police station in which she has stated that the horrifying ordeal lasted for three days, during which the victims was repeatedly assaulted.
The police in a swift action arrested all three accused who are also hailing from Bandipora.
A case has been registered and a thorough investigation is ongoing to ensure justice for the victim.
