Usman Majid alongwith Bandipora constituency units quit Apni Party

BANDIPORA, Aug 1: In a significant political development, Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid has resigned from the party alongwith his workers of Bandipora constituency.

Talking to Kashmir Despatch, the former MLA Bandipora said: “I discussed with my people in Bandipora constituency and we (all units of Bandipora constituency) unanimously decided to quit Apni Party for the betterment of Bandipora.”

The former members of the Apni Party Bandipora believe that this step is necessary to realign their efforts and strategies in a manner that better serves in the best interests of the people of Bandipora.

Mr Majid told Kashmir Despatch that he along with the entire cadre, expresses their gratitude for the support and trust placed in them by their constituents during their tenure with the Apni Party.

“We assure the public that their dedication to the welfare and development of Bandipora remains unwavering.

The next course of action will be determined in the coming days after thorough and deliberate consideration with the existing cadre and well-wishers. This period of reflection and consultation will ensure that any future steps are taken with the best interests of the people of Bandipora. The goal is to forge a path that is more attuned to the aspirations and expectations of the people of Bandipora,” he added.

“We urge our supporters and the general public to remain patient and supportive during this transition period. Further announcements will be made in due course, providing clarity on the new direction and initiatives that will be undertaken, said a senior member from the cadre,” Mr Majid observed while talking to Kashmir Despatch.
