New Delhi: In a historic move aimed at improving connectivity to Kashmir, the much-awaited New Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express is set to begin operations in January 2025. Covering an impressive distance of 800 kilometers in less than 13 hours, the train promises to revolutionize travel between the capital and the picturesque valley.
The semi-high-speed train will depart from New Delhi at 7 PM and reach Srinagar by 8 AM the next day, offering passengers a seamless overnight journey. Key stops along the route include major cities such as Ambala, Ludhiana, Jammu, and Katra, ensuring accessibility for travelers from multiple regions.
